C&S Contracting, a division of CMES, Inc., is seeking a Bridge Foreman with 35 years of structures experience to support heavy civil construction projects across the Atlanta Metro Area. Founded in 1996, CMES, Inc. is a rapidly growing, Georgia-based contractor specializing in heavy highway, bridge, and infrastructure construction throughout the Southeast.
As a Bridge Foreman, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and field teams to support daily operations and help drive the successful execution of bridge and structural projects within our Structures Division.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a critical part in ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with GDOT specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise crews performing bridge construction and structural work
Coordinate daily operations with Superintendent to meet GDOT schedules and production goals
Read and interpret GDOT plans, structural drawings, and specifications
Oversee forming, rebar placement, concrete pours, and finishing
Ensure compliance with GDOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
Conduct daily safety meetings (JHAs / Toolbox Talks)
Direct subcontractors and ensure alignment with project scope
Maintain daily reports, quantities, and crew timekeeping
Ensure proper traffic control (MOT) per GDOT standards
Coordinate inspections and ensure quality standards are met
Train and mentor crew members
Operate equipment and perform hands-on work as needed
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
3-7+ years of heavy civil construction experience (bridge focus)
Experience with bridge construction and structural concrete
Knowledge of GDOT specifications and standards
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Valid drivers license required
