Job description

Bridge Superintendent

We are searching for an experienced Bridge Superintendent for a well-respected, well-established specialty contractor based in Westchester with projects throughout the tri-state area.

Applicants must have minimum 8 years' experience in heavy highway construction, with extended knowledge in bridge construction and reconstruction. They should be able to manage several crews in multiple locations; must possess ability to organize subcontractors, have proper foresight, manage project timekeeping, maintain a safe worksite, aid in job cost tracking, execute procurement of materials, assist with project scheduling, and have the ability to maintain a schedule. Additional skills and experience required include:

  • An extensive understanding of bridge construction and concrete construction
  • Familiarity with Penn DOT, PA Turnpike, NJ DOT, and NJ Turnpike standard specifications and details.
  • Possess computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products; a working knowledge of Vista Viewpoint, Primavera, or HCSS is a plus.
  • Well organized, detail oriented, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in team environment and communicate properly
