Job description

E80 Plus Constructors, LLC specializes in Railroad Bridge Construction and Engineering. We are one of the nation's premier providers to the railroad industry. E80 Plus Constructors is seeking a Railroad Bridge Laborer with a background in construction. Common duties for a bridge construction team member include but are not limited to demolition, forming, and/or pouring concrete, installation of steel rebar or structures, or replacement of timber. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability and experience moving heavy objects, climbing, reaching, handling materials, bending, and working from heights. 
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools. 
  • Remove and replace track components. 
  • Perform routine maintanence and repairs on bridges. 
  • Adhere to railroad safety rules, FRA regulations, and company safety protocols. 
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices, especially when working at heights or confined spaces. 
  • Work effectively in a team environment with co-workers, contractors, and other departments. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site. 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality

Work Environment:

Railroad Bridge Laborers regularly work outdoors, at heights, in different variations of incliment weather conditions, and in noisy work environments. Willingness to travel 100% of the time to different bridge sites throughout the United States. 

Per Diem:

Up to $732 in per diem weekly. $112/working days, $86/non-working days.
