This is a client-focused, sales-driven role where no two days are quite the same. While you'll primarily work with brides as they search for their wedding dress, you'll also have the opportunity to assist mothers, evening wear clients, and menswear clients—helping them find the perfect look for weddings, proms, galas, and other special occasions.
What You'll Do
Style & Sell
  • Lead personalized appointments, helping clients find looks that make them feel confident and excited
  • Style bridal, evening wear, and menswear clients and assist with accessories and other finishing touches
  • Listen to clients' needs, make thoughtful recommendations, and confidently guide them through the decision-making process
  • Work toward individual and team sales goals and identify opportunities to assist clients with additional Van Cleve offerings
Build Client Relationships
  • Prepare for appointments and connect with clients before they visit
  • Follow up after appointments and maintain relationships throughout the client's journey with Van Cleve
  • Stay connected with clients and help them with additional garments, accessories, and services as their needs evolve
Be Part of the Team
  • Help maintain a polished, welcoming showroom and prepare for upcoming appointments
  • Assist with merchandising, inventory, and other day-to-day needs of the salon
  • Collaborate with teammates and management to support our clients and continue growing the Van Cleve experience
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is outgoing, engaging, detail-oriented, and client-focused, with the ability to balance a warm, personalized experience with a strong sales mindset.
You'll do well in this role if you:
  • Enjoy connecting with people and making them feel comfortable
  • Are motivated by goals and comfortable working toward sales results
  • Can manage your time, stay organized, and take ownership of your responsibilities
  • Are professional, reliable, and attentive to the details
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing role is preferred, but bridal experience is not required. We'll teach the right person about our collections, styling approach, and the Van Cleve experience!
Bonus Points
An interest in social media, photography, video, or storytelling is a plus! We love team members who enjoy helping capture and share the special moments that happen at Van Cleve.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options, including an employer contribution toward medical coverage
  • Employee discount
  •  Opportunities for designer and product training and continued learning within the bridal and fashion industry
  •  Opportunities to participate in marketing initiatives, industry events, and other special projects
