Job description

Job Summary
United Building Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Brick Layer / Restoration Mechanic with strong hands-on experience in masonry restoration and concrete repair. This position is ideal for someone who can perform high-quality restoration work safely, efficiently, and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform brick replacement, repointing/tuckpointing, masonry repair, and restoration work
  • Remove and replace damaged brick, block, mortar, and related materials
  • Complete concrete repair work including surface prep, patching, crack repair, and restoration of deteriorated areas
  • Match existing materials and finishes where required
  • Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, mixers, and other restoration equipment safely
  • Assist with site protection, staging, and cleanup
  • Follow project specifications, safety rules, and supervisor direction

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of verifiable experience in masonry restoration and concrete repair
  • Strong skill in brick laying, mortar work, repointing, and restoration techniques
  • Ability to identify defective masonry/concrete conditions and complete repairs properly
  • Experience working on scaffolding, swing stages, ladders, or elevated work areas is a plus
  • Reliable, punctual, and quality-driven
  • Ability to perform physical job duties in outdoor conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation
