Position Purpose: The Loan Closer and Funder must believe in, practice, and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how they approach their role at Green Brick Partners.

Green Brick Mortgage is looking for a dedicated Loan Closer and Funder to join our team in Plano, TX. This dual role combines the responsibilities of preparing and finalizing loan closing documents with ensuring the accurate and timely disbursement of funds for closed mortgage loans. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of closing and funding processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.


Loan Closing Duties:
• Prepare closing documents for mortgage loans.
• Review and verify the accuracy of closing documents.
• Coordinate with title companies, attorneys, and other parties to schedule closings.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
• Provide clear and accurate communication to all parties involved.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the closing process.

Loan Funding Duties:
• Review and verify all closing documents and conditions.
• Coordinate with title companies and other parties to disburse funds.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
• Monitor funding pipeline and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of disbursements and transactions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external parties.

Supervision of Others: N/A

Authority/Budget/Decision Making/Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability:
Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.


Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of closing procedures and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in closing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills.

Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage closing and funding.
