Job Summary:
BRG is a consulting firm that emphasizes a unique approach to IT project management. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects to support the company's business objectives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with BRG standards.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Take primary responsibility for IT projects from initiation through implementation and operational handoff, with accountability for successful delivery.
โ€ข Own project scoping, task definition, sequencing, and dependency tracking with guidance from IT leadership as needed.
โ€ข Track milestones, risks, and issues; proactively address delivery challenges and escalate when appropriate to keep projects on schedule.
โ€ข Ensure assigned projects meet agreedโ€‘upon scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
โ€ข Serve as the dayโ€‘toโ€‘day IT project contact for internal stakeholders and business teams.
โ€ข Participate in requirements gathering and discovery discussions to understand business needs and implementation requirements.
โ€ข Communicate project status, risks, and next steps clearly and consistently to project stakeholders.
โ€ข Coordinate delivery efforts across internal IT functions including Infrastructure, Operations, Cybersecurity, Expert Solutions, and Asset Management.
โ€ข Partner with Legal, HR, Workplace Services, and other departments to support successful project execution.
โ€ข Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and external partners to support project timelines and deliverables.
โ€ข Coordinate technology onboarding and implementation activities, including network readiness, hardware deployment, endโ€‘user access, and ISP coordination.
โ€ข Provide onโ€‘site support during key onboarding, cutover, or transition events when required.
โ€ข Maintain accurate and upโ€‘toโ€‘date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
โ€ข Support effective handoff to operations and support teams at project completion.
โ€ข Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts within the PMO.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience.
โ€ข 4โ€“7 years of experience delivering and supporting IT projects across the full project lifecycle with delivery ownership.
โ€ข Experience coordinating and driving work across multiple technical teams and stakeholders to deliver IT solutions.
โ€ข Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, cloud computing and storage, infrastructure concepts, Azure, AWS, Microsoft Security Stack, ServiceNow, Snowflake, etc.
โ€ข Experience using project management tools, including MS Project, Monday.com, and Smartsheet.
โ€ข Strong organizational, communication, and problemโ€‘solving skills with a focus on execution and followโ€‘through.
โ€ข Ability to manage competing priorities in a fastโ€‘paced, evolving environment.
โ€ข Willingness to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international travel.
โ€ข Hands-on exposure to IT implementations
