Breast Nurse Practitioner Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive patient care services including health histories, risk assessments, cancer screenings, physical examinations, diagnosis, patient education, and counseling.
• Assess, manage, and treat acute and chronic breast health conditions, including benign and malignant disorders.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Collaborate with radiology specialists to interpret breast imaging studies, including ultrasound, mammography, and MRI.
• Collaborate with surgical specialists to interpret pathology findings and develop treatment plans.
• Conduct genetic risk assessments, coordinate testing based on clinical guidelines, interpret results, and provide patient counseling.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Refer patients for additional specialty care when clinically appropriate.
• Utilize evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols for decision-making and patient management.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform office-based procedures including venipuncture, IV insertion, biopsies, wound care, suture removal, and post-operative follow-up care.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation.
• Protect patient rights, confidentiality, and privacy.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection-control practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and utilization review activities.
• Maintain professional and effective communication with patients, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
• Adapt to changing patient volumes, clinical priorities, and operational needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
• Master's degree required.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Graduate of an accredited educational institution.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
• Current CPR certification.
• DEA and controlled substance prescribing registration, where required.
• Two to four years of related clinical experience preferred, but not required.
