JOB DESCRIPTIONRESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own territory performance and drive top-line revenue while managing cost-to-serve, equipment ROI, and operational efficiency
  • Hire, coach, develop, and manage a full-market team across both sales and operations: Account Executives, Route Sales Driver, Service Technician, and Warehouse Manager
  • Drive new business and manage existing customers across office coffee, breakroom, bars, and restaurants, selling both Java House products and water equipment placements
  • Utilize value-based selling to prospect and close new business and manage the full sales cycle, with particular focus on bundled product + equipment deals into the breakroom
  • Organize and effectively manage sales reps territory, working cross-functionally as need to adjust and optimize
  • Ensure operational excellence at the warehouse and in last-mile delivery and equipment service, partnering with your ops manager on inventory, routing, install quality, and service SLAs
  • Coordinate and execute training and marketing project support for Java House accounts
  • Keep current with and educate potential customers on liquid coffee, water equipment, and specialty beverage trends
  • Demonstrate a proactive mentality for setting sales goals, hitting market financial targets, and closing accounts
  • Drive sales performance, revenue growth, and overall market profitability
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Business
  • 5+ years' experience selling in Office Coffee Service (OCS), water/coffee equipment preferred
  • 2+ years' experience managing, coaching, and developing successful sales teams; experience leading cross-functional teams (sales + operations) strongly preferred
  • P&L management experience preferred, comfort owning revenue, margin, and operating cost lines
  • Experience selling or managing capital equipment placements (water filtration, brewers, dispensers) into breakroom or foodservice channels is a strong plus
  • Knowledge in value-based selling and sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or MEDDPICC
  • Demonstrated success and proven track record with new account penetration
  • Must be able to travel assigned territory as needed and located in the Indianapolis, IN metro area

  • P&L acumen, fluent reading financials, and making trade-offs between growth investment and profitability
  • Ability to lead and develop both sales talent and operations talent (drivers, technicians, warehouse staff)
  • Comfort balancing growth with operational discipline, keeping service quality high as the market scales
  • Professional, positive, and proactive written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior presentation skills to tell a compelling story and influence decision maker, particularly when pitching bundled product + equipment solutions
  • Strong, collaborative, relationship-building, analytical, and proactive problem-solving skills
