Job description

The Drey Hotel is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Breakfast Server. In this role, you will play a key part in providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests. As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining environment.
JOB REQUIRMENTS:
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take and fulfill breakfast orders promptly and accurately.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and provide recommendations when necessary.
  • Set up and arrange tables for breakfast service.
  • Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and stocked with necessary utensils and condiments.
  • Clear and clean tables efficiently, maintaining a neat and organized dining area.
  • Familiarize yourself with the breakfast menu and daily specials.
  • Be able to describe menu items, answer questions, and make recommendations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide seamless service.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards in handling and serving food.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bus stations and service areas.
  • Accurately process guest bills and handle cash and electronic payments.
  • Provide receipts and thank guests for their patronage.

QUALIFICATIONS amp; SKILLS:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required.
  • Must be available to work 5 days per week.
  • Shifts are approximately from 6 AM to 11 AM.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is crucial for this position.
