Now Hiring Cooks! Any experience with breakfast restaurants is a plus, but not required. We will train you to be part of our team and succeed in your position. With a positive attitude, hunger to grow and ability to move with a sense of urgency, anything is possible.
As a cook, you will create the food our customers love, not just pancakes but a wide variety of meals that keep them coming back for more. You will set up equipment, verify stock and maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Skills Needed:
• Ability to read and prepare all food recipes to IHOP specifications
• Ability to prepare food within our outlined ticket times
• Ability to read food tickets or receive verbal instruction
• Capable of using knives and other food preparation equipment
• Operate large volume cooking equipment like flat tops, deep fryers, stoves and dishwashers
Requirements:
A qualified applicant believes in showing up to work on time, well-groomed with a clean uniform ready to work! They must be work well with others, be self-motivated, reliable and have a strong work ethic.
This position requires you to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift, be able to lift at least and/or move up to 50 pounds, and have full mobility of hands and arms while performing repetitive tasks.
