Job description

Earn $22 per hour plus cash tips while helping lead the front-of-house team at Kafenio Greek Diner, an established independent restaurant in Decatur. This full-time Restaurant Shift Lead role offers approximately 40 hours per week with no late nights, giving you the opportunity to take the next step in your career leading a front-of-house team.
We're looking for an experienced full-service restaurant server or current Shift Lead from a full-service restaurant who's ready for more responsibility. Previous full-service restaurant serving experience is required. Whether you're currently a Shift Lead, Key Holder, trainer, or the person your team naturally looks to during a busy service, this role offers the opportunity to grow while working closely with ownership.
You'll lead from the dining room floor, support the service team, coach employees, maintain hospitality standards, and help deliver the warm, genuine guest experience Kafenio is known for.

About the Role
As the Restaurant Shift Lead, you'll help oversee front-of-house operations while working alongside the service team throughout every shift. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coach employees, support guests, maintain service standards, and help ensure the restaurant operates smoothly from open to close.
