Job description

The MBP Account Manager is responsible for the overall management, administration, and support of the Mechanical Breakdown Protection products offered to Allied clients. This encompasses supporting, testing, and managing our point-of-sale delivery platform iQQ from an MBP perspective.
Communicates daily via phone and email with Allied field sales/service representatives, MBP providers and clients to resolve all issues related to MBP. Also vital to the position is maintaining relationships with product providers to develop and implement various MBP programs while ensuring overall compliance with various state and federal regulations.
Creates and maintains periodic as well as on-demand reporting to support Allied field sales and service representatives to support their mission of driving client success.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Escalated Client Support
  • Serve as the main point of contact in Allied MBP Department for escalated client and provider issues.
  • Resolve escalated FI/borrower issues related to claims and ongoing service of MBP. Involves working with product providers to promptly address any connectivity or service issues.
  • Monitor the quality of client service and sales support within the department through the use of Allied's technology resources (Email, Seismic, Smartsheet, Infor, PIMS and DataStore).

MBP Product Development & Maintenance
  • Collaborate with various MBP Providers regarding development of new products , updates, rate and program changes as well as case management of existing business.
  • Create and maintain various marketing documents for distribution to Allied sales field and our clients, while meeting deadlines to implement the changes in iQQ.
  • Ensures client facing sales tools in iQQ are up to date and accurate. This includes maintaining Quick Reference Cards (QRC) in iQQ to correctly reflect any product or provider changes, as well as working with iQQ team to maintain correct sample documents in iQQ.

iQQ MBP Product Maintenance
  • Assist with development , testing, and troubleshooting of MBP products and settings within the iQQ platform.
  • Listens to concerns and suggestions from Allied field sales and service teams and evaluates potential enhancement to MBP products in iQQ. Submits enhancement requests to iQQ team through appropriate ticketing systems and follows them through to implementation.
  • Monitor and implement compliance requirements and ensure iQQ is reflective of those requirements.

Periodic Reporting
  • Assist MBP Director in preparing monthly financial and activity reports, including monitoring revenue and the timing of provider bonus and profit share payments.
  • Generate, process, and approve commission worksheets for various MBP programs and conduct commission audit reviews to ensure profitability.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of provider commission statements within accounting systems and in iQQ to have payment status of MBP policies correctly stated.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
  • Bachelor's degree required: Field of Study: Risk Management & Insurance; Management, Business.
  • 5-7 years of work-related experience required.
