Job description

Job Title: Live Sports Card Show Host – Breaker, Entertainer, Hype Builder

Company: Mount Olympus Rips
Location: Plymouth, MN (On-Site Only)
Schedule: Evening/Night Shift | 5:30pm–2:00am
Compensation: $50 per hour + tips | Top hosts run 6–8 breaks per night | High earners $100k+ per year

To apply: Email tom@ontimetalent.com with a quick note about your sports card background, hosting style, and why you love being on camera and in control of the room.

Mount Olympus Rips is looking for a true show host. Someone who doesn’t just rip cards, but runs the stream, owns the energy, and keeps people locked in. If you’ve watched or followed high-energy breakers like Backyard Breaks, We The Hobby, Debut Sports, The Players Club, Tru Pullz, or individual creators who built big followings by sheer personality and presence, this role will feel very familiar.

Maybe you’ve even done this yourself. Ran your own channel. Built an audience. Talked for hours straight. Hyped hits. Controlled the chat. The difference here? With Mount Olympus Rips, you don’t worry about sourcing product, inventory risk, or shipping orders. Your only job is to put on a great show.

You are the host. The voice. The vibe. The entertainment.

You’ll be live on our Whatnot channel, Mount Olympus Rips: https://www.whatnot.com/s/exYkthrf
If you’re the type who believes a breaker is closer to a sports talk host meets auctioneer meets entertainer, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

  • Host high-energy live breaks on Whatnot as the face of the stream
  • Keep constant conversation flowing with sports talk, hobby insight, banter, and storytelling
  • Hype the room, react big to hits, and turn pulls into moments people clip and remember
  • Drive bids, shout out buyers, and control the pace and momentum of the stream
  • Stay current on NFL, NBA, MLB players, products, and chase cards
  • Work with a backend team that handles sorting, packing, and shipping so you stay focused on hosting

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone who loves talking, hosting, and entertaining on camera
  • High energy, confident presence, and comfort being live for hours
  • Strong sports card and sports knowledge
  • Ability to eliminate dead air completely
  • Experience running your own stream, channel, or live content is a huge plus
  • Competitive personality who enjoys commanding attention and building excitement

Why Mount Olympus Rips

  • You focus on entertainment and hosting, not logistics
  • No product sourcing, no shipping stress, no inventory risk
  • A growing Whatnot audience that values energy and personality
  • Be a featured on-screen host, not just someone opening boxes
  • Late-night, high-engagement streams where energy matters
  • A hobby-first team that understands breaking is a performance

Interested?
Email tom@ontimetalent.com with a short note about your background, any streaming or breaking experience, and why you’d be a great live host for Mount Olympus Rips.

If you’ve ever thought, “I could run a stream like that,” this is your seat. Lights on. Camera live. Let’s put on a show.
