Brazing Operator
Location: Dexter, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $16.50 per hour
Job Summary
We're seeking a dependable Brazing Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and assembling parts for the brazing process, loading and unloading furnaces, inspecting components for quality, and maintaining production documentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work and is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Brazing Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Part Preparation: Inspect components for cleanliness and readiness, assemble parts according to work instructions, and prepare materials for the brazing process.
  • Furnace Operation: Load and unload parts into brazing furnaces while ensuring production schedules and quality requirements are met.
  • Quality & Documentation: Complete production tickets accurately, inspect finished parts, and report any quality or production concerns to leadership.
In addition, you will rotate throughout the department as needed, maintain a clean and organized work area, assist with general production duties, and follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to work in a high-heat manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
