Job description

Diesel is a truly worldwide organization. It is present in more than 80 countries with 5,000 points of sale, including more than 400 company owned stores.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for working as a member of the store team to achieve store sales goals by processing all inventory and stock transactions accurately and quickly. Also responsible for store replenishment and maintaining a clean and organized stockroom.
Key Area of Responsibilities
Sales/Financial:
• Supports store sales productivity and customer service through processing all transactions accurately and on a timely basis.
• Knowledge and understanding of store sales goals.
Customer Service:
• Understands and abides by all Diesel retail policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-centric attitude.
• Supports the Diesel brand image through the Diesel Dress Code policy.
• Attends all store meetings as directed by management.
• Develops and maintains understanding of all relevant company, store and product information.
Product:
• Maintains product levels through the daily restock of the sales floor.
• Communicates product stock level issues to management as appropriate.
• Communicates product quality issues to management as necessary.
Operations/Loss Prevention:
• Processes all inventory transactions accurately, in a timely fashion and as per Diesel inventory policy and Procedure.
• Ensures that all product in back-stock is sensored and organized at all times.
• Follows all store opening and closing procedures.
• Keeps current regarding all information posted on store communication boards, and in department binders.
• Performs operational duties as directed by management.
Store Maintenance:
• Maintains a clean and organized stockroom at all times.
• Follows daily and weekly cleaning procedure to ensure department and stores are consistently cleaned to company standards.
Brand Protection:
• Understand Diesel brand values.
• Communicate the brand values to customers.
• Support Diesel brand image by always adhering to Diesel dress code.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential

  • Required to stand and walk for up to eight hours in a workday.
  • Repetitive and regular lifting of up to 70 lbs.
