Position Summary:
The Branch Coordinators will work cooperatively with the team to reach the branch operations and profit goals.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Promotes and demonstrates Wurtec's core values (dedicated, hardworking, ambitious, willing to accept responsibility, and integrity).
  • Primary responsibilities are receiving, warehousing, picking and shipping activities, loading/unloading trucks, and elevator cable cutting.
  • Loads/unloads trucks with a high level of care to maintain inventory accuracy and inspects product for damage or defects.
  • Handles the cut line process including picking, cutting, and shipping.
  • Assists with branch audits physical inventory including, stocking, picking, and shipping.
  • Ensures that the counter, self-serve, warehouse, and delivery areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Operates a forklift and cutline machine.
  • Occasionally coordinates and prioritizes the prompt transfer of inventory between branches.
  • Operates all company vehicles and equipment safely and properly and performs all required equipment inspections.
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism and customer service when occasionally assisting customers with quoting, product availability sales order processing, returns/defective material processing, product/transfer procurement and providing technical support.
  • Provides suggestions on improving operational functions to the Branch Manager.
  • Full-time/in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.

  • Driving company owned equipment and vehicle for deliveries as required or needed based upon the needs of the business.

Technical Skills:
  • Basic computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
  • Forklift driving experience.
  • Aptitude for learning company ERP, Epicor.
  • Valid driver's license

Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse Shipping & Receiving experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of wholesale distribution preferred.
  • High school diploma

Work Environment:
This role primarily operates in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. The noise level is described as moderate and may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. This role requires constant lifting up to 10 lbs., frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., and occasional lifts up to 100 lbs. It may require a certain amount of walking, standing, kneeling, pushing, reaching, stooping/twisting, climbing, crouching, driving, grasping/gripping, picking/pinching, pulling, reaching overhead, and squatting. Near visual acuity, and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech is required. This role is not eligible to considered for remote work.
