Travel Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Physician Examiner - The Judge Group
Position Overview
The Judge Group is seeking qualified physicians to perform Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) disability examinations for U.S. military Veterans and transitioning service members.
This is a non-treatment, evaluation-only position focused on conducting medical disability examinations and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). These evaluations assist the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in determining disability benefits eligibility for Veterans.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) examinations for Veterans.
Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly.
Perform cognitive and neurological assessments as required.
Review medical records and document findings in accordance with program guidelines.
Submit timely, detailed, and objective examination reports.
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of residency training in one of the following specialties:
Neurology
Neurosurgery
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Psychiatry
Board Certified or Board Eligible in specialty.
Active, unrestricted state medical license in good standing.
Current malpractice insurance coverage.
Reliable computer and high-speed internet access.
