Job Description

Senior Management position responsible for introducing, managing and evolving enterprise suite of products that provide a foundation for collaboration and information presentation. Coordinates with vendors and internal customers to provide project coordination, installation, support & testing, reporting, and other support as needed.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to all levels of staff as required.
  • Assign personnel to projects and assignments, directing priorities to ensure the timely completion of them,
  • Develops and designs support operations and processes.
  • Actively participates in management and leadership meetings.
  • Approves design solutions/tested methodologies and ensures that appropriate documentation Is prepared.
  • Effectively uses appropriate tracking, metrics and reporting systems to manage, report and escalate issues.
  • Interacts with other IT team members to ensure successful and smooth completion of projects.
  • Regularly meets with users, vendors and IT staff to develop/modify system specifications.
  • Able to clearly and effectively interpret IT and technical Information for communication to upper management, keeping them well informed of activities, needs or problems.
  • Focuses on staff technical and professional development.
  • Ensures that all teamwork conforms to established P&P's, along with staff compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Keeps staff up to date and informed on new/revised P&Ps. Establishes and monitors standards of performance for staff. Performs risk assessments and develops corrective actions.
  • Develops and prepares reports, business case analysis as requested.
  • Hires and transitions employees to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Directs the creation and approval of P&Ps.
  • Evaluates employee job performance according to established standards.
  • Anticipate and identify issues that may negatively Impact business and develop/implement technology-based solutions.
  • Support all aspects of IT projects including analysis, design, development, installation and implementation.
  • Ensure systems meet current and future business needs.
  • Work with IT vendors and other outside contacts on development and service relationships.
  • Forward thinker who designs for not only current business needs but, plans for scalability and longer-term solutions.
  • Teamwork oriented- must be a team player willing to help others while also fostering their help in return.
  • Must be able to multi-task and Juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion of all Items,
  • Manage product operations and 3rd party suppler relationships.
  • Coordinating with the groups of business unit who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software.
  • Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
  • Maintains product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains product management staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Defines and establishes the product vision, goals, supporting business metrics, and success Indicators to ensure cross teams understand the business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Must live in Las Vegas
  • Must have Salesforce and Marketing experience 
  • Ability to act as a central point of contact responsible for all products considered enterprise-level collaboration, business intelligence or equivalent systems as assigned to the team
  • 7+ years of product management experience; Ideally managing at least one product through an entire development cycle starting from concept to launch
  • Results driven "get It done" personality, able to balance multiple projects as second nature
  • Disciplined organization and project management skills, with acute attention to detail and an ability to asl< the questions nobody else has asked
  • Proven analytical skills and a superior ability to use data in order to drive decision-making and feature prioritization
  • Experience managing project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in a methodical and structured way
  • Strong ability to partner with business to set and evolve enterprise content management strategies, roadmaps and product selection, as well as suggest process improvements to streamline procedures
  • Technical or computer science background strongly preferred
  • Experience evaluating project requests and proposals for viability, assist with requirements definition, and advise on potential impacts to existing applications
  • Ability to participate with Project Management and other teams to estimate total project cost if necessary
  • Ability to work closely with Project Managers to ensure that projects  remain on target
  • Passionate about keeping abreast of emerging business and technological trends.
  • Ability to regulate provisioning of resources while providing project leadership to Identify available solutions, project cost, resource, and time forecasts
