The AGM trains, develops and leads a diverse, high-performing team to ensure goals are met and/or exceeded. The AGM provides an exceptional member experience, team environment, and contributes to the club’s financial success. The AGM trains, develops and leads a diverse, high-performing team to ensure goals are met and/or exceeded. This position is responsible for upholding company policies, brand standards and delivering the best club experience!
BRAND STANDARDS amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the General Manager’s ‘go-to’ resource for daily task delegation, staff management, amp; communication
- Deliver the best fitness experience by maintaining member engagement and a high-performing team
- Assist with training team members on club operations and sales
- Obtain and retain a high percentage of membership enrollments by supporting the sales team and managing the execution of the club sales metrics
- Drive the business forward through class packages, private training, equipment, and retail sales
- Provide direction, motivation, and guidance toward achieving individual and company goals
- Establish a fun, safe, and community-focused club culture
- Help to resolve member concerns and escalate to the General Manager; when necessary
SKILLS amp; QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3+ years in a managerial role and/or retail, hospitality, fitness experience
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, manage clients (via call, text, email, and/or in-person) and team member concerns with approachable amp; welcoming energy
- Fitness enthusiast and boxing experience preferred; however, not a ‘knock-out’ qualification
REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work 30-35 hours per week
- High School Diploma/GED
- CPR and First Aid certified preferred
- Flexible hours, with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
