Job Title: Front of House Opener / Bakery Associate

Shift: Approximately 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Summary:
The Front of House Opener is responsible for preparing the bakery for daily service, ensuring the space is clean, stocked, and ready for customers. This role sets the tone for the day by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining an inviting atmosphere from the moment doors open. Weekends are required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Glaze donuts and assist with finishing baked goods
  • Prepare frostings, fillings, and toppings as needed
  • Portion and brew coffee; prepare basic coffee drinks
  • Assemble and package orders, including boxing and labeling products
  • Apply stickers/labels to boxes accurately for orders and inventory
  • Stock and organize toppings, supplies, and display items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and front counter
  • Wash dishes and keep prep and service areas clean
  • Assist customers with orders, questions, and recommendations
  • Support team members with additional tasks as needed during busy periods
Requirements:
  • Reliable and punctual (early morning availability is essential)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized
  • Comfortable handling cash and using POS systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
