Job description

Most of the time you will be labeling products and creating packs or bundles of items (and then labeling), to be shipped to Amazon's warehouses. This job requires attention to detail and has to be able to keep products and warehouse tidy and clean.


We are looking for somebody to stay with us for the long run. We offer the security of working for a well-established secure company, which is only looking to grow, not to sell or merge.
Chosen candidate must pass drug test and the Homeland Security's E-Verify for authorization to work in the U.S.


DUTIES
- Pick & Pack Products from inventory. Prepare boxes with labels and packing lists as necessary, Prepare and ship batches of products to Amazon and other fulfillment warehouses.
- Package goods for storage or shipment. Most require labeling. Some will require re-boxing, poly-bagging, wrapping/cushioning and/or re-labeling.
- Cleaning: Clean work and storage areas to keep everything neat and clean. Occasionally clean the offices. Maintain clean work, break & bathroom areas. Break down boxes, sweep and dispose of trash.
- Inventory Reporting & Checking: Will need to regularly produce physical inventory reports and whenever needed spot check inventory of a certain product.
OUR COMPANY
Our Company is a leading eCommerce Retailer and Wholesaler. We sell all kinds of products: Appliances, Electronics, Security Equipment, Office Equipment, Arts & Crafts products, Educational products, etc. We also sell on our own websites and other Venues such as Amazon and eBay. We have been in business since 1990 and have 60 employees in the whole Company but only about 10 work at our Pembroke Park location.

Requirements

- Must be a Citizen, Resident of the U.S. or have a Non-expired Work Permit to work in the U.S.
- Must live near Pembroke Park/Hollywood and must have Reliable Transportation. We are 1 mile West of I-95 on Pembroke Rd. Candidates living near our location will be given priority.
- Good and clear spoken and written English and Spanish preferred.
- Good Desktop Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet.
- Shipping and packing experience.
- Working on shipments might involve lifting boxes of up to 50 lbs. We have carts but you have to be able to put the box in and out of the cart.
- Excellent work ethic. Must be punctual, responsible, dependable and honest.
- Intelligent and Organized self-starter who can work independently with little direct supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, follow instructions, be a fast learner.
- High attention to detail. Must be able to count product accurately and must be able to read and recognize product variations.
