Job description

Warehouse/Delivery Crew and Driver (Hourly)
Position Overview: Loot Rentals is hiring part time warehouse crew for our Austin location! This is an entry level position and will report directly to the Operations Manager. As a warehouse and delivery crew member, one should be a detail oriented individual who will support the fulfillment portion of our rental operation: assisting with the prepping of inventory for client orders, loading and unloading trucks, and making client deliveries to event venues and private residences.
The ideal candidate will bring energy, a great attitude, and problem solving skills to Loot's Austin warehouse. This is an hourly position that may include daytime warehouse shifts and night and weekend shifts. Full time hours are available during the busy season, but not guaranteed. Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with the delivery of furniture rentals to various event venues and locations using company vehicles; some deliveries require using stairs or walking longer distances with heavy equipment with the assistance of moving tools
  • Maintain and upkeep of furniture rentals including: sofas, large shelves, tables, rugs, chairs, and plants
  • Picking and filling orders for delivery
  • Navigating and utilizing inventory software
  • Interaction and communication with event planners or contacts on-site with professional behavior and customer service skills
  • Observing safety protocols and strong detail to avoid damage to rental items during loading and transport.
  • Hours include mornings and evenings on weekends - sometimes starting as early as 6:00 am or as late as 3:00am, on occasion.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Work early mornings, late nights and weekends when needed.
  • Ability to bend, walk/stand for 8 hours or more and lift 50lbs.
  • Strong and clear communication skills.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to work and complete task without supervision.
  • Ability to drive box trucks; some experience preferred (Crew will be considered to train as a Delivery Driver between 30-90 days)
  • Punctual and trustworthy

Compensation:
  • $20 - $22, hourly non-exempt
