What you will be doing

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company trucks in support of heavy civil highway construction projects. This position requires knowledge of CDL requirements, jobsite safety, and working around heavy equipment.

  • Operate company trucks in compliance with DOT and CDL regulations
  • Safely haul materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
  • Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with load securement requirements
  • Transport materials such as aggregate, asphalt, fuel, or water as required
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, and field crews
  • Work safely in active highway construction zones and traffic-controlled areas
  • Transports construction materials using vehicles and trucks.
  • Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.
  • Performs additional assignments per management's direction.
What we are looking for
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid CDL (Class A or B, as applicable)
  • Experience with construction equipment preferred.
  • Experience hauling or moving heavy equipment between job sites
  • Ability to properly tie down and secure equipment per standards
  • Working knowledge of CDL rules and DOT regulations
  • Ability to hold or obtain Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsements
  • General knowledge of heavy civil construction equipment and operations
