Overview
Why We Need Your Talents:
As a member of the Vault Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the collection of all drop boxes from the gaming floor; placing the drop boxes on the designated cart, and securing the cart for transport from the casino floor to the count room. The Vault Team is responsible for counting all the currency, coins, tickets, and coupons from each drop box. Proceeds from other department activities may also be counted, such as food and beverage cash turn-in and employee tip turn-ins.
Compensation: $18.00/hr
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
  • Opening, removing and securing currency from the slot machines and table games.
  • Accurately counting slot machine currency drops and tickets.
  • Operating electronic currency counter/sorter and New Wave ticket counter equipment.
  • Recording currency from each bill acceptor and table game box on the electronic currency counter.
  • preparing and bundling the currency drop for verification.
  • Separating slot tickets and currency from gaming machines.
  • Counting chips for Poker Room
  • Prepares various reports on the count and enters into computerized online accounting system.
  • Informs supervisors of any discrepancies or variances.
  • Ensures area is clean and organized.
  • Maintains confidentially of all information.
  • Contributes to a team effort and accomplished related results as required.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guest and employees.

Skills to Help You Succeed:
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Ability to:
    • Handle and count money accurately.
    • Effectively enter information into computer systems and use a printer.
    • Write and understand basic instructions and memos.
    • Distinguish between colors
    • Use a 10 key calculator.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must present self in a well-groomed, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Must be able to:
    • Stoop, bend, and squat
    • Work in a location with loud noise, visual distractions, and temperature changes.
