Description
Dunbarton Corporation is seeking a Receiving Technician/ Driver that is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, including unloading, palletizing, wrapping, and staging shipments, receiving and inspecting deliveries, updates inventory in ERP, and ensures proper storage, and manages shipments via UPS, FedEx, LTL, and inter-plant transfers, ensuring packaging and labeling meet standards. Responsibilities will also include driving the Dunbarton box truck and/ or pickup truck to transfer goods to and from local vendors, customers, and warehouses.
Essential Job Functions
  • Unload and inspect raw materials; verify documentation and enter data into ERP system
  • Transport materials to proper inventory or manufacturing locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes
  • Maintain accurate inventory records; perform cycle counts and audits
  • Deliver packaging supplies and maintain cleanliness of work areas
  • Build pallets and protective packaging for outbound shipments
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment and company delivery truck
  • Inspect incoming and WIP materials for defects; ensure compliance with specifications
  • Tag and label raw materials, scrap, and WIP; manage scrap disposal and ERP entries
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory
  • Support logistics operations including UPS, FedEx, LTL, and inter-plant transfers
  • Follow safety, 6S, Kaizen, and LEAN protocols; assist in training and team activities
  • Drive Dunbarton box truck to transfer goods to and from local vendors and warehouses
  • Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments or material needs
  • Adheres to work schedule and attendance requirements, including overtime if required
  • Performs other work as directed and required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of raw material handling and inventory controls

Requirements
  • Six (6) or more months' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Valid driver's license
