Title: Shipping Clerk
Location: 4602 E Hammond LN Phoenix AZ 85034
Duration: 4+ months
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Shipping Clerk position is responsible for creating and inputting request for patient supplies to vendors for the drop ship program.
Operating equipment would include a manual pallet jack. Our warehouse clerks will pull packages from shelves and stock the shelves with frequent deliveries. Most packages average 20lbs-50lbs.
**Typing and PC skills are a must.**
The Shipping Clerk:
• Reviews orders as to patient, number of cans, and special requests
• Selects proper size box and packs order securely
• Seals box neatly and securely
• Enters shipping destination into carriers program and affixes shipping label to shipping container
• Loads the UPS trailer
• Maintains an adequate supply of shipping containers and supplies
• Unloads incoming trucks
• Knowledgeable of manual pallet jack and walk-behind forklift
• Receives all shipments
• Documents packing slip or invoice
• Counts pieces being received
• Stocks shelves and rotates inventory
• Maintains warehouse and shipping area
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic typing skills a must
• Must be 18 years of age or older
