Job description


Overview:
Part time position (8-12 hours/week) assisting in box office operations. Position starts in late August and run through late May. The rate is $20 per hour.
Responsibilities (essential functions):
  • Work box office on nights/days of performances
  • Sell and distribute tickets to Juilliard events in multiple venues, using ticketing software
  • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve ticketing/online issues
  • Assist with membership/donor ticket fulfillment
  • Provide information to public and Juilliard community about performances

Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to interact with the public courteously and efficiently, especially with senior citizens and students
  • Box office experience including use of ticketing software.
  • Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Background in the arts, preferably with knowledge of classical music and/or theater
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and some days
