We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead facility and equipment maintenance operations, drive reliability, and support production performance. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in an industrial environment and is passionate about safety, uptime, and team development.
What You'll Do:
This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting production uptime through effective planning and execution.
On any given day, you will:
  • Lead maintenance operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and uptime
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs to minimize downtime
  • Partner with operations to schedule maintenance activities and coordinate planned outages
  • Manage and prioritize work orders through CMMS systems
  • Conduct daily facility walks to identify equipment issues and improvement opportunities
  • Analyze equipment performance data to improve reliability and reduce failures
  • Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory for critical equipment
  • Oversee and coordinate third-party contractors and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and equipment performance

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a strong maintenance leader with a focus on safety, reliability, and team development.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of maintenance leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability
  • Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (equipment, welding machines, facility systems)
  • Ability to manage priorities, problem-solve, and drive execution
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Maintenance, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in rail, heavy industrial, or manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies

Supervisory Responsibility:
  • Directly manages maintenance technicians and contractors
  • Responsible for workforce planning, training, and development
  • Drives accountability for safety, quality, and performance

Work Environment:
  • Combination of shop floor and office-based work
