POSITION SUMMARY
PSIย Container, locatedย in McAdoo, PA, is a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxesย and we areย seeking Machine Operators to join ourย team.ย Machine Operators set up and operate the machines safely to produce our specialty products.ย ย These are Full Time, 1st shift positions that do not require the ability to workย rotating shiftsย . Core schedule forย this positionย is Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday 6:00am to 10:00am and includes the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ย 
  • Ensure the safe operation of all machinery and adhere to all safety rules and initiatives.
  • Oversee machine operations to ensure minimal downtime and excellent finished product quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues that happen.
  • Maintain proper documentation and machine entries for each job.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safety first mentality.
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial machinery.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team oriented approach.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Above average organizational skills and detail orientation.
  • Ability to enter product specifications into the computers.ย 
  • Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds, standing for the majority of the shift.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience. ย 
  • Basic math skills required (fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).ย 

To be successful in this position, you must be willing to make a commitment of time and effort to become part of a team producing quality corrugated boxes in a safe, drug free environment. Experience in operating fork lifts in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
