Job description

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently operate a refrigerated box truck while delivering dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products, as well as foodservice supplies, to customers on an established route. This position plays a key role in ensuring on-time deliveries, providing outstanding customer service, and building positive relationships with our customers in the hospitality and foodservice industries.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a refrigerated box truck while following all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
  • Deliver dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products and foodservice supplies to customer locations on a scheduled route.
  • Load, unload, and properly stack products at customer locations.
  • Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures and payments when required.
  • Use mobile routing software to track deliveries and report issues in real time.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and management throughout the workday.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Complete all required safety inspections, incident reports, and company documentation.
  • Maintain a safe driving record and comply with company safety policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Assist with other warehouse or operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of route delivery or box truck driving experience.
  • Clean driving record with no reckless driving or DUI/DWI convictions.
  • Valid driver's license and current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
  • Experience delivering foodservice products is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments.
  • Ability to safely use ladders, lifts, and material handling equipment when required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment throughout the shift.
