Are you looking for a meaningful driving role that keeps you active and connects you with the community? Goodwill is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Box Truck Driver to join our logistics team! Help us deliver more than goods—help us deliver opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Box Truck Driver, you’ll be the critical link between our distribution centers, retail stores, and donation sites. Your job is to safely and efficiently operate a box truck while ensuring that all materials—whether donations, raw materials, or store deliveries—are secured and handled with care.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Navigating designated routes to complete pickups and deliveries safely and on time
  • Maintaining clear communication with dispatch via radio, phone, or digital channels
  • Loading and unloading trucks with care—protecting merchandise and donated goods
  • Completing all required paperwork: manifests, vehicle logs, inspection reports, donation counts, and more
  • Conducting daily maintenance checks (fuel, fluids, tire condition, etc.)
  • Ensuring truck safety at docks (including tire chocking and general inspection)
  • Presenting a clean, professional appearance and a customer-friendly attitude
  • Delivering exceptional service to donors, stores, and the public

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License
  • Ability to understand and follow directions and safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Basic mechanical awareness for vehicle upkeep
  • 18 years or older with a solid driving record
  • Prior truck driving experience (box truck preferred)
  • Experience with pallet jacks, dock operations, or warehouse logistics is a plus
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and road test as part of the interview process

Physical Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand, bend, and twist for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
