What You'll be Doing:
- Make boxes with appropriate labels attached.
- Utilize hands, packing forks, and/or other methods to transfer product to appropriate package
- Inspect products for conformance to specifications.
- Utilize gauges to check basic dimensions or other specifications.
- Notify operator or supervisor when quality problems are detected.
- Discard product not meeting specifications.
- Seal containers and place on skid utilizing the box lifter.
- Performs duties in accordance with all safety rules and use safe work methods.
- Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously as needed. You will need to gain a working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements during your training period.
- Communicate with supervisors and peers while establishing and maintaining a constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Overtime required at times
We'd Love to Hear from You If:
- Prefer 1-2 years manufacturing experience but not required
- Possess the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Manual dexterity required with the ability to use both hands for packing and be able to stand and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to relate well to others and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.
