Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical evaluations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including the preparation of operating rooms, ensuring precise patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments as needed
• Offer exceptional preoperative and postoperative care, covering medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education and Experience

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
