Job description

PEAK Genetics has an opportunity available to join our talented laboratory department in Watertown, WI! In this role, you will be a member of a highly skilled team supporting the evaluation and packaging of bovine products that are distributed around the world. As a Laboratory Technician for PEAK Genetics, you will be surrounded by people who are passionate about the agriculture industry, bovine genetics, and client satisfaction. SHIFT AVAILABLE: 

  • Monday - Friday ; 7:00AM - 3:30PM

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Perform processing work according to standard SOPs
  • Evaluate samples for motility, concentration, volume, and quality
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory
  • Keep records on bull registration and enter in appropriate databases
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Capacity to work on feet and stand for long periods of time
  • Willingness to learn and follow company protocols 

Ideal 

  • Basic computer skills working with Microsoft Office
