Job Requirements
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and helping customers find products they love? We are looking for a Boutique Sales Associate to join our team! This role is pivotal in delivering the Aubuchon difference-creating a welcoming shopping experience, building genuine customer relationships, providing personalized product recommendations, and helping drive sales. If you are outgoing, friendly, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting customers, understanding their needs, building relationships, and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
  • Provide personalized product recommendations, styling assistance, and guidance on product features, sizing, materials, care, and complementary items.
  • Drive sales by actively engaging customers, upselling, promoting loyalty programs, special orders, events, trunk shows, and other promotions.
  • Accurately process purchases, returns, and exchanges using the POS system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring merchandise is stocked, steamed, tagged, and displayed according to boutique standards.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing, and maintaining inventory shipments, as well as resetting displays and completing opening and closing procedures.
  • Stay knowledgeable about new arrivals, product features, brand stories, promotions, and product care to confidently assist customers.
  • Support special events, promotional activities, and initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily and monthly sales goals and communicate customer feedback, inventory needs, and operational concerns to management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the boutique atmosphere and follow all company policies, including loss prevention, safety, and customer confidentiality.
  • Use company systems and communication technology as required and report hazards or safety concerns to the Leader on Duty.
  • Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and Aubuchon's Core Values.

Work Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail, boutique, or sales experience is a plus, but not required; extensive training is provided.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use POS and other retail systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, customer-first approach.
  • Outgoing, positive, and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build genuine customer relationships and provide personalized service.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to sales goals.
  • Ability to learn product information, features, materials, care instructions, and promotions.
  • Reliable and dependable with the flexibility to work weekends and adapt to business needs.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
