Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is a local, independent, and physician-owned primary care and specialty practice group with five offices in four communities - Boulder, Erie, Longmont, and Louisville Colorado. The group is well-established in Boulder County and the surrounding areas, having served the community since 1949.
Job Summary
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Urgent Care Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to join our Urgent Care team.
  • Part-time status entails a scheduled commitment of at least four (4) shifts per month and is eligible to receive company paid malpractice insurance, 401k, and healthcare benefits.
  • Per Diem (PRN) status allows for provider schedule flexibility, however, would not be eligible for company paid malpractice insurance, 401k and healthcare benefits.

Ideal candidates will deliver high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and patient assessments.
  • Diagnosing acute illnesses, infections, minor injuries, and exacerbations of chronic conditions.
  • Determining whether a patient can be treated in urgent care or requires referral to an emergency department or specialist.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
  • Stay current with medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current medical licensure.
  • Board certification or eligibility.
