Job description

Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist - MD
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303
$400,000 annually
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist (MD) to join our established and collaborative Boulder Heart team. This role focuses on the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology conditions, working within a multidisciplinary cardiology group to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum.

Qualifications:
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Fellowship training in Electrophysiology required or strongly preferred
• Active or eligible for Colorado medical licensure
• DEA certification required
• Experience managing complex cardiac arrhythmias and EP conditions
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, multidisciplinary care
Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient and inpatient care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology conditions
• Perform and interpret diagnostic EP studies and manage arrhythmia treatment plans
• Manage advanced rhythm therapies, including device management (pacemakers, ICDs, etc.)
• Collaborate with cardiology, hospitalist, and specialty teams to coordinate comprehensive care
• Participate in development and growth of electrophysiology services within Boulder Heart
• Support transitions of care, including inpatient to outpatient follow-up
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
• Provide patient and family education on arrhythmia management and treatment options
• Participate in cardiology call rotation as part of the Boulder Heart team
