Mosaic is seeking Nightlife Servers who will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-energy nightlife and lounge environment. This role requires strong beverage knowledge, confidence in sales, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality and teamwork. Nightlife Servers execute all steps of service with professionalism and efficiency while maintaining a polished and welcoming service area.

Successful candidates thrive in energetic nightlife settings, communicate effectively with guests and team members, and take pride in creating memorable experiences. Nightlife Servers confidently guide guests through beverage and bottle service options, promote premium offerings, and help create an elevated VIP experience. They are responsible for driving revenue through suggestive selling and meeting guest spend targets while collaborating closely with bartenders, support staff, and management to maintain seamless service flow.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests from greeting through farewell, creating memorable nightlife experiences that build guest loyalty and encourage return visits.
  • Confidently take drink and bottle service orders while maintaining strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, champagne, and premium bottle offerings.
  • Execute bottle service according to company standards, including presenting bottles to guests in a timely manner, preparing mixers, ice buckets, and glassware, and assisting guests with pouring drinks as needed.
  • Monitor bottle levels throughout service and anticipate guest needs to maintain an attentive and seamless VIP experience.
  • Suggestively sell by promoting premium bottles, champagne, specialty cocktails, shots, and additional rounds to increase guest engagement and enhance the experience.
  • Meet or exceed guest spend targets and table minimums through effective sales techniques, upselling, and guest engagement.
  • If applicable, maintain knowledge of late-night food menu offerings and accurately take and enter guest food orders when applicable.
  • Open, manage, and close tabs accurately for tables, including VIP tables and bottle service sections.
  • Build strong relationships with regular guests and VIP clientele to create a personalized and elevated nightlife experience.
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system and ensure timely beverage delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with bartenders, barbacks, hosts, security, and management to maintain efficient service flow and a high-energy environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented service area throughout the shift.
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and uphold responsible alcohol service standards in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when appropriate.
  • Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and operational standards.
  • Contribute positively to team morale and support fellow team members during high-volume periods.
  • Additional duties as needed within the scope of the role.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous serving experience in a nightclub, lounge, or high-volume bar environment required
  • Experience with bottle service and VIP table service preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, champagne, and premium bottle offerings.
  • Proven ability to upsell and drive guest spending in a nightlife environment.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per state law.
  • Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
  • Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds (trays, beverage racks, etc.)
  • Continuous movement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and twist frequently throughout shift.
  • Work environment may include dim lighting, loud music, and crowded conditions typical of nightlife venues.
  • Must be able to move safely through kitchen area, including slick floors and tight spaces.
