Primary Job Requirements

  • Come to work at scheduled in time in uniform and prepared
  • Assist staff with removing all items from BOH
  • Check floor plan and necessary opening and running side work for the day
  • At 4:45 a 15 minute break is encouraged, break does not start before then
  • Show up on time to staff meeting at 5pm ready to be checked by management ? having all tools visible
  • Return to station immediately and ensure cleanliness
  • Clean outside chairs (set times vary per restaurant but is required everyday)
  • Bread ? bread is automatic for Prime 112 and Prime Fish ? server will indicate for Prime Italian
  • Water ? promptly provide water specified by server, very important function to maintain appropriate levels of water at all times (bottle and regular water levels vary)
  • Bottle water is only given by bar with a ticket
  • Ensure all bottled water is noted with correct table number
  • Clear ? all plates are cleared from the right of the guest starting with ladies first ? DO NOT clear plates if guests are still eating or if indicated by the guests they want their plates cleared
  • Reset ? resetting the table needs to be done neatly and quickly; a table should be cleaned and reset in less than a minute and a half
