Join Our Team!
Parkview Physicians Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice that employs excellent diplomatic communication skills. An interested candidate should have the ability to collaborate with intra-interdepartmental team members as well as community organizations or members. A qualified candidate would have the ability to multitask and utilize critical thinking skills to best serve our patients.
Schedule and Responsibilities
  • Monday-Friday- No call. No weekends, nights or holidays
  • All outpatient
  • Work location at PRMC with some outreach clinics
  • Great collaboration with our 6 other neurology NP's and our Neurologists
  • Opportunity to participate in quality improvements and patient care initiatives
  • Assist with Health Assessments, Strokes, Seizures, and Procedures. APPs perform procedures such as Botox injections for headache/migraine, occipital nerve blocks and trigger point injections
  • Day to Day includes patient appointments, managing in-box for patient calls/messages, and following up on laboratory and imaging results. Participating in care improvement initiatives

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional)
  • Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
  • Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.

Certifications as required by specialty which may be but are not limited to:
  • BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • ACLS/ACLS-EP
  • PALS
  • ATLS
  • CSR
