Job description

Position TitleHealth System Project CoordinatorJob Description

Purpose & Scope:

The Health System Project Coordinator handles the administrative tasks associated with assigned projects and oversees specific project activities. The Health System Project Coordinator works closely with the Health System Project Managers to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently. The Project Coordinator will be required to track, maintain and report on multiple projects and facilitate coordination across multiple VHC Health departments to ensure successful completion of the projects and their goals. This position requires knowledge of project management, organizational process improvement, clinical operations and group facilitation. This position does not have any supervisory or on call responsibilities.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Experience:

Two years of healthcare operations experience is required.

Two years of project management experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

None required
