Job Description

The Electronic Technician Supervisor will supervise and technically direct employees in line maintenance in the Wafer Fabrication areas.  Incumbent will also be responsible for equipment repair and upkeep in his/her assigned area, both scheduled and unscheduled downtime (i.e. incumbent will be a working supervisor); documentation of equipment maintenance; establish and monitor Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule; audit specifications for equipment repair; and interface with various departments and outside vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Assure timely technical assistance on equipment failure or downtime problems.
  • Arrange for equipment installation, adjustments, repairs, preventative maintenance, and establish maintenance/repair programs and procedure.
  • Develop new or improved equipment or manufacturing processes. Evaluate plant compliance and safety standards.
  • Holding regularly scheduled staff meetings, maintain time records, ensure department schedules are in balance with production schedules, and administer technical training programs.
  • Screening and hiring new employees, conducting performance appraisals and disciplinary actions. Allocate personnel to assure achievement of daily production goals.
  • Inspect work for quality and effective completion of tasks. Assure that quality specifications are followed.
Qualifications
  • AS degree or certificate in Electronics  with 5 years of direct industrial manufacturing experience. Semiconductor experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teams across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail for data entry and tracking accuracy, along with an ability to identify and address discrepancies in data.
  • Ability to speak up and lead challenging conversations among cross-functional teams, facilitate discussions, provide insights, and influence decisions, fostering alignment and collaboration in a diverse group setting.
  • Proven ability to train and guide team members at various skill levels, using clear communication and adaptable teaching methods. Capable of developing training materials, delivering presentations, and ensuring understanding and retention of key concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and navigate new software programs and technology. A proactive approach to troubleshooting, seeking resources, and mastering unfamiliar tools is essential.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $95,000.  Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
