Job description

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of blow out preventer systems used in drilling operations. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our drilling activities.

1. Install and maintain blow out preventer systems, pack offs, reel swivels, lubricators, iron and down hole tools in accordance with industry standards.

2. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and inspections performed on blow out preventers.

3. Maintain an inventory of expendable materials and parts for these items

4. Conduct regular inspections and pressure testing of blow out preventers to ensure proper functionality.

5. Troubleshoot and repair any issues related to blow out preventer systems.

6. Collaborate with drilling teams to ensure safe and effective operations.

7. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to blow out preventer operations.

8. Load and unload material for repair projects

9. Ability to communicate with clients, supervisor, engineers, production control, and other shop personnel as it relates to the job.

Provide field service and customer support to include, but not limited to, equipment removal, tear down, troubleshoot, evaluate, repair, test and install.

Requirements:

· At least three (3) years’ proven experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically with blow out preventer systems.

· Strong mechanical and technical skills.

· Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to pass a WorkSTEPS Physical

· Relevant certifications in blow out preventer operations are a plus.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
