Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong Sage 50 accounting software experience to manage daily bookkeeping operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support accounting functions. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience using Sage 50 and be comfortable handling full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities.

Sage 50 experience is a mandatory requirement for this position. Only candidates with demonstrated Sage 50 bookkeeping experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using Sage 50 Accounting Software
  • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
  • Prepare financial reports, account summaries, and bookkeeping statements
  • Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
  • Track outstanding invoices and follow up on accounts receivable
  • Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documents
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper using Sage 50 (mandatory)
  • Minimum 2+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
  • Ability to accurately manage financial data and meet deadlines
