Accountants often have formal education and may hold certifications like CPA, which can lead to higher pay compared to bookkeepers who primarily handle routine financial record-keeping. Salary differences can vary based on experience, location, and industry.

Is AI replacing bookkeepers?

AI is automating certain bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, reconciliation, and report generation, which can increase efficiency.
