About Delaney Computer Services

Delaney Computer Services (DCS) is a Northern New Jersey–based Managed IT Services Provider serving small and mid-sized businesses throughout the New York Metro area. We deliver managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and professional services to clients who depend on us to keep their businesses operational and secure.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and support our financial and billing operations. This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing company where accuracy, organization, and accountability are highly valued.

This is an in-office position in Mahwah, NJ. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Position Overview

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting invoicing and billing processes, and ensuring that financial data remains organized and up to date.

Our environment includes recurring services, project-based work, vendor expenses, and contract-based billing. While deep MSP experience is not required, the right candidate should be comfortable working in a structured, detail-driven environment and able to understand how billing aligns with services and agreements.

You will also assist with internal coordination and may communicate with clients when questions arise, so professionalism and clarity are important.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage and process monthly recurring service agreement (MSA) billing
  • Invoice project-based and transactional work (hardware, software, renewals, domains, etc.)
  • Reconcile vendor invoices and licensing to client agreements
  • Maintain billing accuracy within QuickBooks Online
  • Audit contracts and ensure billing aligns with contract terms
  • Resolve billing discrepancies proactively
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding invoice questions, service relationships, and contract terms
  • Identify when issues require escalation to management and when they can be handled independently
  • Continuously improve billing processes and documentation

  • Experience with recurring revenue models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Close attention to detail and process discipline
  • Comfortable working in an office environment full-time
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
  • Willingness to learn

  • 2+ years of billing / bookkeeping experience in a professional services firm
