Job description

Remote Part Time Full Charge Bookkeeper for a Public Accounting Firm

Public accounting firm is seeking a self-starting, dynamic individual for full-charge bookkeeper position which entails preparing accounting & financial reports, recording financial transactions into all ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries when needed, performing general accounting duties, preparing payroll & sales/use tax returns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least 8 years’ bookkeeping experience

Expert QuickBooks skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as computerized software

Strong organizational and follow-up skills, including the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and complete tasks in a timely manner

Able to communicate effectively, both orally and written

Able to work with different personalities and be a team-player

Professional, dependable, accurate, fast-learner, attentive to detail, motivated self- starter

Work well with minimal supervision and the ability to self-review your work before releasing to your manager

Prior public accounting experience preferred

Must pass the firm’s bookkeeping exam as well as a background check.

Job Type: Part time hourly position, 15 – 20 hours per week to start and looking to turn this into a fulltime position.

Pay:  $25.00 to $28.00/hour depending on experience

Schedule:  Monday to Friday (PST), flexible schedule
