About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join a growing accounting team. This is a newly created role designed to help bring accounting processes in-house and support stronger financial reporting, controls, and day-to-day accounting operations.

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys owning the details, working closely with leadership, and helping build structure within a growing business.

What You'll Do
  • Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities
  • Process accounts payable through Bill.com or similar AP software
  • Assist with payroll-related accounting and coordination
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Sage 50 or a similar accounting system
  • Reconcile accounts and review transactions for accuracy
  • Understand the impact of entries on the financial statements
  • Support month-end close and reporting requirements
  • Help prepare timely financial information for leadership and ownership
  • Work closely with the CFO, office staff, and operations team
  • Assist with improving internal accounting processes and segregation of duties
  • Maintain organized documentation and support audit-related requests as needed
What We're Looking For
  • Strong bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and financial statement impact
  • Experience with Sage 50 preferred
  • Experience with Bill.com or similar accounts payable software preferred
  • Payroll system experience helpful
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, service, or similar business environment preferred
  • Comfortable working in a smaller office environment connected to an active production or plant setting
  • Experience supporting a company with at least 30 employees preferred
  • Organized, accurate, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Able to meet deadlines and support a timely month-end close process
  • Willing and able to work onsite 5 days per week
Compensation & Benefits
