Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependableBookkeeper / Accounting Clerkto assist with day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers, and proficient inMicrosoft Excel.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, completing reconciliations, and preparing and managingthree transaction reports.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting and financial records.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain three transaction reports.
  • Perform financial data entry and ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Process invoices, payments, and deposits.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, financial statements, and transaction records.
  • Enter and maintain general ledger transactions.
  • Review financial records for discrepancies and resolve errors as needed.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for accounting transactions.
  • Assist with month-end accounting procedures and reporting.
  • Organize invoices, receipts, payment records, and other financial documents.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, organize, calculate, and report financial information.
  • Communicate with internal staff, customers, and vendors regarding accounting-related questions.
  • Perform additional bookkeeping and administrative accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous bookkeeping, accounting clerk, or related accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Experience performing account and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
